ESEF (European Single Electronic Format) seminar 2018 – Helsinki November 26 2018

The seminar is aimed at Finnish issuers with the aim to increase their awareness on the requirements of the ESEF-ESMA mandate. The seminar will provide an outlook on how XBRL facilitates financial reporting by rendering unstructured data into structured, machine-readable data. The seminar includes keynotes from the Finnish Finacial Supervisory Authority, ESMA, and Nasdaq. The seminar is organized by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) and co-hosted by the Real-Time Economy program and XBRL Finland.

The theme of the 2017 conference is Transactional Level Standardization – TALTIO. TALTIO is the Finnish implementation of the XBRL Global Ledger, the open standard for transactional reporting, which provides a generic and system-independent way to record all of the details in any kind of ledger. The TALTIO project is led by the Association of Finnish Accounting Firms and focuses on three key areas: developing the TALTIO standard, TALTIO e-receipt, and the TALTIO data storage. The conference will be held on 11-12.5.2017 at Aalto University in Helsinki.
